Buyers Contract
Romanxx requires a contractual agreement with every cat we sell. Points addressed in the contract include health and genetic soundness, care to be given, price and payment (a non-refundable $100 deposit required to hold the kitten/cat of your choice), conditions under which cats may be returned, and statements regarding FIP and declawing.
Guarantees Of Health And Soundness
"Seller makes no guarantees of the health or show quality of this kitten/cat except as follows:
This cat is in excellent health on day of sale and is free of FeLV/FIV. If within 4 days of purchase, a veterinarian certifies a disease or condition stemming from the Seller’s cattery, Purchaser may return the cat/kitten to seller for either a full refund or medical care until the problem is resolved, or receive a partial allotment for care which Seller can obtain (costs estimated by vet before care is begun). If in the first 4 months after purchase, this cat/kitten should die from FIP as verified by autopsy results, the seller will replace the cat/kitten with one of like value."
Pick-up And Delivery
Due to changes in airline regulations and requirements, shipping is no longer an option. I prefer that the buyer arrange to pick up the kitten/cat in person, either by driving to North Carolina or flying into Charlotte Douglas International Airport to take the kitten/cat back home in the cabin of the plane. I will be happy to discuss arrangements for flying in escort of a kitten/cat to a destination to deliver the animal in person. All costs of travel and delivery is to be paid for by the buyer, in advance of the trip.
